Day 1: Coco Bandero Cays Orientales
Arrival Transfer: Take a taxi to the Albrook local terminal in Panama City and board your private plane to the Corazón de Jesús airstrip. The recommended departure time is 8:00 am, but we can accommodate your schedule. You'll land in San Blas after an exciting 45-minute flight over the lush jungle and the sparkling San Blas cays. Have your camera ready for stunning aerial photos! After landing and passport check, a short walk will take you to the yacht anchored next to the airstrip in Corazón de Jesús. Receive a briefing while enjoying your welcome drink. After a pleasant 40-minute sail, you'll drop anchor in Cayos Coco Bandero. Welcome to paradise, surrounded by coral reefs, palm trees, and turquoise waters. It's time to launch your kayaks and paddleboards. Snorkeling, paddleboarding, and exploring the nearby islands are unforgettable experiences that will leave a lasting impression. The day's fresh catch (lobster, fish, crab, etc.) is ready for lunch around 12:30 p.m. or whenever it's convenient for you. Afterward, it's time to relax. Exploring the beach and meeting the locals are must-do activities at Coco Bandero. Dinner offers many options, and we can accommodate your preferences.
2: Western Coco Bandero Cays
Wake up in East Coco Bandero Cays. After breakfast and a refreshing swim, the captain will set sail for the western tip of Coco Bandero Cays. Prepare to marvel at the deserted anchorages, some of the most secluded in the San Blas Islands. This is a paradise within paradise. The surrounding islands are all yours to explore, with only a small hut occasionally used by local fishermen. Lunch is served at this incredible anchorage. Snorkeling and swimming in the crystal-clear waters are must-dos. Explore the nearby deserted islands by yacht. Night fishing is highly recommended; you could catch huge snapper, grouper, and other stunning catches.
3: Dutch Keys
At dawn over the Coco Bandero Cays of the West, the sky turns pink and gold, heralding the beginning of another day in paradise. After a hearty breakfast and an invigorating morning swim, we'll set sail and head for the legendary Holandes Cays. Recognized by seasoned sailors as the epitome of idyllic island perfection, these cays promise adventure and discovery. BBQ Island, also known as Turtle Island, captivates with its vibrant atmosphere and pristine shores. Dive into the crystal-clear waters teeming with life and explore the colorful reefs that make this area a snorkeler's paradise. Glide around on a kayak or paddleboard, immersing yourself in the unspoiled beauty of the nearby islands. Disembark on BBQ Island and immerse yourself in the local culture, sharing stories and laughter with the welcoming Kuna natives who call this place home. As the day draws to a close, enjoy the enchanting beauty of the setting sun while enjoying a sumptuous dinner under the glittering canopy of stars aboard the yacht.
Day 4: West Dutch Cays
As the morning sun casts its golden rays over the calm waters, we'll embark on a journey to the hidden gem known as La Piscina, nestled next to BBQ Island. Here, amidst nature's untouched beauty, lies a sanctuary where time seems to stand still. With the most pristine barrier reef in all of San Blas just a stone's throw away, and civilization a distant memory, La Piscina offers a unique glimpse of paradise. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and immerse yourself in a world teeming with vibrant marine life. After a refreshing swim in the shallow turquoise waters, we'll set sail for the enchanting Dutch Cays of western San Blas. Amidst these remote islands lies the small abode of Prado, a master craftsman renowned for his intricate molas. Explore the pristine shores, paddle a kayak or paddleboard, and plunge into the azure depths for an unforgettable snorkeling adventure. As the day draws to a close, return to the comfort of the yacht and enjoy a delicious dinner under the canopy of stars, a fitting end to another day of adventure and discovery.
5: Dutch Keys
Wake up in the Dutch Cays and, after enjoying a hearty breakfast on board while admiring stunning views of the crystal-clear waters and lush green islands, take some time to meet José's family and, if you wish, participate in fascinating cultural exchanges. Spend the morning on a snorkeling adventure to explore the vibrant underwater world surrounding the West Dutch Cays. After a delicious lunch featuring the day's catch and local delicacies, kayak, paddleboard, or simply relax until the evening. At sunset, gather on deck to admire the mesmerizing colors that paint the sky. Afterward, enjoy a sumptuous dinner prepared by our onboard chef, featuring fresh seafood and local specialties to round out another day in paradise while stargazing from the sundeck.
Day 6: Morbedup Island
Our daily breakfast typically includes coffee, a variety of fruits, yogurt, bacon, eggs, cheese, and more. Dive into the vibrant nearby reefs, teeming with life. We'll sail for approximately one hour to reach Morbedup Island. Life on Morbedup moves at a leisurely pace. The calm waters surrounding this island are completely protected from the sea and surrounded by vibrant coral reefs. We encourage you to dive into these crystal-clear waters, grab your paddleboard and explore any of the nearby islands, or simply stay on board and enjoy the incredible views. Enjoy a lobster lunch ashore. Venture out to explore the lush islands near Morbedup. Dinner will be served on board.
Day 7: Green Island
Embark on a short 40-minute cruise from Morbedup to the picturesque Green Island, located east of San Blas. A world of exploration awaits, with numerous reefs and sandbanks waiting to be discovered. Dive into the depths to snorkel around the islands and sandbanks, immersing yourself in the vibrant underwater world. Many sailors take advantage of this anchorage to connect with other sailors, sharing stories of adventure and camaraderie. Disembark at Green Island and enjoy a peaceful stroll along its shores, taking in the unspoiled beauty of this remote paradise. At sunset on another unforgettable day, gather aboard the yacht for our final dinner. The barbecue is ready to serve, ensuring a delicious end to our seafaring adventures.
Day 8: Corazón de Jesús landing strip
Departure Transfer: As part of our flexible approach, our schedule adapts to your flight time. Depending on your departure, the captain will decide whether you spend your last night on Isla Verde or set sail for Isla Corazón de Jesús in the afternoon. Disembarkation from the yacht will be at the scheduled time, followed by a quick boat ride to the airport runway. From there, a 45-minute flight will take you back to the local Albrook terminal in Panama City, bringing our unforgettable island adventure to a close.
